Oxana Fedorova won Miss Universe Pageant, back in May 29, 2002. She is 5'10" and was born on 17 December 1977, in the city of Pskov, Russia where she graduated from a police secondary school and a police-juridical college with honors.
Before winning the pageant, Oxana already was an attorney and a detective/policewoman, and in August 2002, she was promoted to the rank of police captain. Firing weapons is a favorite pastime of hers, and she can quickly and easily assemble and take apart a Kalashnikov assault rifle. Oxana also is an avid reader, and loves philosophy and the fine arts, can play the guitar and the saxophone, is a champion volleyball player, and an expert in the martial arts. Furthermore, Oxana is a co-chairman of the Russian youth movement, Energy of Life, and a candidate of the Russian Party of Life, running in the party-list State Duma Elections of 7 December 2003.
On December 27, 2002, Oxana successfully defended her Doctoral Thesis in the field of Civil Law at the Interior Ministry University at Saint Petersburg where she presently works as a professor. Oxana is now a Ph.D.!! In the future, she also would like to own a law firm, and expresses an interest in one day running for the city parliament of Saint Petersburg.
Moreover, since January 2003, she has hosted the number one children's show in Russia,"Spokoinoi Nochi, Malyshi" or "Good Night, Little Ones," and in July 2003, she co-hosted the Russian version of the popular European game show "Fort Boyard."
