Knauss was reported to have wanted a dress that would stand out against Mar-a-Lago's ornate Louis XIV style ballroom and fit in with her theme: white, gold and diamonds.

The 1,672-square-metre foot ballroom features 17 custom crystal chandeliers, 24-karat gold-leaf mouldings and a marble floor. Trump opened the venue on his seven-hectare estate overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway at a New Year's Eve gala featuring singer Vanessa Williams.

"Everything will be very simple and very elegant in keeping with Melania's wishes and the look of the grand ballroom," said Mar-a-Lago catering and special-events director Pat Saylor.

Trump tekisi Miss America -kilpailusta seksikkäämmän ja poistaisi talentin   :-*

Donald Trump's sensitivity toward women's issues is as well known as his belief in the adage "Hair makes the man."

It is no surprise, then, that stories are circulating that he will buy the Miss America pageant and get rid of all competitions that do not have to do with a contestant's appearance, according to the New York Post's Page Six gossip column.

The Post reports that because Trump's Miss USA has buried Miss America in ratings (16 million to 9.8 million viewers), he's set his sights on buying Miss America (the pageant, not the person) and sexing it up. Say goodbye to the talent portion (how many times can you listen to Miss Texas sing New York, New York?) and hello to more skin.

"Trump will increase the height of their heels and decrease the size of their swimsuits," an insider told the Post.

Pumping up the Miss America pageant - sounds like an excellent task for The Apprentice. The winner is the group with the most surviving members after informing the contestants of the new rules.

AKA Donald John Trump

Born: 14-Jun-1946
Birthplace: Queens, NY

Gender: Male
Ethnicity: White
Sexual orientation: Straight
Occupation: Business, TV Personality

Nationality: United States
Executive summary: Casino Owner and Rich Dude

Donald Trump's father started The Trump Organization, and was moderately successful selling real estate, and the son followed in those footsteps. As Trump tells the story, he knew he would need access to wealthy clients to swing large deals, so the young Trump wangled membership in an "exclusive" New York social club, to make contacts.

He made contacts, made deals, and kept coming out ahead. As his fortune grew, Trump built the Grand Hyatt (the biggest hotel constructed in New York since the 1950s), and the Taj Mahal casino, and Trump Tower, and Trump Plaza, etc.

Trump's fame outside financial circles started with the United States Football League (USFL), a bargain-basement alternative to the NFL that started in 1983. Trump bought the New Jersey Generals, a USFL team, after the 1983 season, and engineered the league's switch from a spring schedule to the fall in 1985, when they would go head-to-head against the NFL. But the USFL folded before ever playing a fall game. They sued the NFL for unfair competition, and won $3.76 (a dollar in damages, trebled as an anti-trust penalty, with 76¢ interest).

After accumulating his billions, Trump saw most of it vanish in the early 1990s under massive loan payments. He regained his fortune within several years, which has of course made him even more famous. And through it all, nobody has been more impressed by Donald Trump than Donald Trump. He has slept with supermodels and married famous bimbos, publicly toyed with running for President, bought the Miss Universe contest, and hosted The Apprentice, a reality show where the grand prize is a job working for Donald Trump.

You're unlikely to make a deal on a handshake with The Donald; he considers handshakes "barbaric." His atrocious hairdo is often said to be a toupee, but Trump insists it is real and he likes it that way.

Hyvin älykäs ja menestyvä mies. Eikä muuten ole kalju! Trumpin kirjassa How to Get Rich, Trump on kirjoittanut kokonaisen lyhyen luvun hiuksistaan. Kertoi siitä, että meni huumorintajuisena miehenä yhteen tv-ohjelmaan todistamaan hiuksensa aitouden.  :)

no onhan toi nyt aika typerän näköistä, kun yrittää epätoivoisesti peitellä tuota kaljuaan. ja varmaan tuollainen mies tuollaisen naisen saisi pelkästään olemalla älykäs. mutta eipä taida trumpilla noita elinvuosia olla enää niin kauheasti jäljellä. tosin googlen kuvahaun perusteella trumpilla ei hirveästi ylipainoa olekaan, joten joutuu muija odottelemaan rahojaan vähän kauemmin.

Kuvia tuoreesta vaimosta. Voidaan ajatella myös niin päin, ettei Trump katselisi Melanieta jos Melaniella ei olisi kurvikasta vartaloa. Kummallakin on varaa vaatia ja saa yleensä haluamansa. Melanian mitat: 178 cm / 58 kg / 90-60-89.

Tässä on mun löytämää:
Born in Yugoslavia, in an area now a part of the Republic of Slovenia, in 1974, Melania Knauss grew up in a comfortable but overprotective household. Her Austrian father and Slovenian mother wished to make sure their daughter was well-educated so that wherever she ended up in life, she'd be well placed to succeed. This translated into many hours of study for the young Knauss; as a child, her head was frequently buried in a book.

How They Met:
Donald and Melania met in 1999 at a fashion event. Breaking up in 2000, they reconciled later. Donald proposed to Melania in April, 2004.

Wedding Date and Ceremony:
January 22, 2005, 7:00 p.m. at Bethesda-by-the-Sea Church in Palm Beach, Florida. The officiant was Rev. Ralph R. Warren, Jr.
Ines, Melania's older sister, was maid of honor. She is a designer from Slovenia, and wore a gown designed by Vera Wang.

Donald's oldest daughter, Ivanka, did a reading during the ceremony.

Donald Jr. and Eric served as best men. The celebrity wedding of Donald and Melania was not televised.

Wedding Guests:
Some of the 500 wedding guests invited included Oprah Winfrey, Luciano Pavarotti, Clint Eastwood, Alfonse D'Amato, Usher, Elton John, Prince Charles of Britain, Prince Albert of Monaco, David Letterman, Russell Simmons, Vic Damone, Sean Combs, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Shaquille O'Neal, Derek Jeter, Joe Torre and Muhammad Ali, Rudy Giuliani, Billy Joel, Katie Couric, and Trump’s children Donald Jr., Ivanka, Eric, and Tiffany.

Wedding Attire:
Knauss' wedding gown appeared on the February 2005 cover of Vogue magazine.

Melania's 50 pound wedding dress was designed by John Galliano of Christian Dior. The white duchesse satin dress, with a 13-foot train, rumored to have cost between $100,000 and $200,000, had almost 300 feet of material and 1,500 crystal rhinestones and pearls. The dress was so heavy and wide that Melania sat on a bench instead of a chair.

Melania changed into a Vera Wang sexy, sleek tulle dress after she had the traditional first dance with Donald.

Wedding Reception:
Trump's 17-acre, 118 room Mar-a-Lago Club located in Palm Beach, Florida was the site of the reception. The Mar-a-Lago's $42-million ballroom is a very ornate room in the Louis XIV style. The wedding colors were white and gold.

Trump, the deal-maker, managed to get discounts on many aspects of the wedding, including the 15-carat diamond ring that he gave to Melania. The regular price for the ring was $1.5 million, but he only paid half that price.
He also received discounts on the photography, flowers, meals, and transportation. The wedding planner, Preston Bailey, is from New York.

The Wedding Cake:
The orange Grand Marnier chiffon wedding cake was five-foot-high, seven-tiered, 200 pounds, 32 inches in diameter, covered with approximately 3,000 white icing roses, and filled with Grand Marnier butter cream. It did not have the traditional bride and groom on top.

Wedding guests each received an individual cake about the size of a cupcake. Looking like the top tier, the individual cakes were chocolate sponge cakes, filled with chocolate truffle, and decorated with one rose on top.

Wedding Invitations:
The gold script engraved wedding invitations were made by Tiffany & Co. The invitations included a card that mentioned the banning of any form of recording device or cell phones at the wedding.

Guests were invited to enjoy the luxury of Mar-a-Lago's amenities of golf, tennis, and spa on January 21st through the 23rd.

Food, Beverages and Entertainment at Reception:
There were conflicting reports about the reception meal. Some said it was provided free and consisted of filet mignon with green peppercorn sauce and steamed shrimp. Other news items stated that the chef of Mar-a-Lago provided the meal of Steamed Shrimp Salad with Champagne Vinaigrette, Roasted Tenderloin of Beef with a Green Peppercorn Sauce and Horseradish Potato Galette.

The bandleader of a 36-piece orchestra was Michael Rose.

From Trump's wine cellar: Magnums of Cristal Champagne, 1983, R.D. 2004, from the wine library of Louis Roederer; Classique-Montrachet, Marquis de Laguiche, 2002, a white burgundy; and Chateau Lynch-Bages, 1999, Pauillac, a red Bordeaux.Source: Palm Beach Post

It was reported that cameras were not allowed at either the church or at the reception. Trump said that a day after the wedding, one official, black-and-white image would be released.
