PARIS HILTON'S new reality show, The Simple Life, (airing Tuesdays at 8:30 p.m. EST on Fox) purports to document what happens when two pampered princesses, Paris and her pal Nicole Richie, deprived of money and other luxuries, are plunked down in the middle of a small, "simple," Southern town to work blue-collar jobs. But this Star investigation reveals what you won't see:

The work was a lark:
"They were kind of pumping gas at the Exxon for one or maybe two days but they didn't do much," says Chris Trotter, who works at the gas station/grocery store. "They pumped a few cars, but just for the cameras. Fox offered $5 off a tank of gas to get a lot of people to come in [to the station] those days."
 

They did have money:
"At first, they'd just take gum and candy and sodas from the store and then Fox would come in with a credit card to pay for everything," says Trotter. But then, Jess Rowland, a local who met the girls while filming , says Paris borrowed $600 from him, noting, "I haven't gotten it back yet."

They fooled around with local guys:
"I heard Paris say that it was just innocent flirting, but I think it was a lot more than that," insists Trotter. "She hooked up with several guys."

They enraged local girls:
"I couldn't believe the way those girls dressed; they looked like hookers!" says Altus resident Donna Eddy, who often saw them at a local bar. "Every time they came in, they started dirty dancing with each other, and they exposed themselves as well. I know I saw Paris' butt at least five times, and other things were falling out too."

Their local fans are few!:
"They'd come in here and get on their cell phones, talking really loud so everyone could hear and saying rude things about the town," says a manager of the local Wal- Mart. "They had a lot of nerve." Adds Jennifer Crabtree, who works at the Altus Circle M food store, "Paris wasn't friendly or outgoing at all, and she certainly didn't do anything in the time she was here to make you think different."

Ihmettelen vaan, että miksi Paris ilmoittaa aina "viralliseksi" pituudekseen 5'8 (n. 173 cm) vaikka on todellisuudessa vain 5'5 (n. 164 cm) ja pikkusiskonsa Nicky on vähän pitempi, eli 5'6 (n. 167 cm).  

No toi sarjahan ei ole ollut läheskään yhtä suosittu kuin ne Parisin omat luontoaiheiset videonauhat...

Niinpä... Mäkin luin tosta pari päivää sitten. Eli kyllä taitaa show kiinnostaa katsojia melkein yhtä paljon kun nää ko. kotivideot...

Sitä paitsi musta noi kommentit on kummallisia... Okei, ehkä Parisilla on pitkä selkä ja lyhyet jalat, mutta onhan se nyt aivan tajuttoman hyvännäkönen nainen.

Ehkä niillä kotivideoilla yritettiin kerätä katsojia Parisin & Nicolen reality-tv-sarjalle?    Nehän julkaistiin "sopivasti" netissä ennen kyseisen sarjan alkamista...    

Tässä koko Nirppanokkapoppoo bilettämässä (Parisin ja Nickyn pituuksia voi verrata Nicole Ritchieen (vasemmalla) joka on noin 150 senttinen).

 

Mun mielestä Paris oli kauniimpi ennen, näyttää nykyään lähinnä epäonnistuneelta drag queenilta.

Jotenkin säälittävän oloinen yliyrittäminen pilaa muuten ehkä ihan nätin tytön.Kun kaikkea on liikaa niin se liika mitä tahansa on liikaa..taijotain.Lähinnä Paris Hiltonista mulle tulee mieleen **** Chanelin laukaisema viisaus: Nainen joka näyttää siltä, että rahasta ei ole puutetta, mutta tyylitajusta sitäkin enemmän.

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Mr. Blackwell, chronicler of clothing catastrophes, poked fun at socialite-reality TV star Paris Hilton Tuesday for committing the worst fashion follies of the past year.

The acid-tongued critic and former fashion designer has been ailing in recent years, preventing him from reading his 44th annual list aloud to the press.

But in an exclusive interview, Blackwell told AP Radio in Washington: "Paris came up shining with a big spotlight saying, 'Pick me!' She was just the most natural contender to make No. 1 this year."

Hilton, star of the Fox reality show "The Simple Life," became an inadvertent Internet icon when a homemade sex video she shot with her then-boyfriend made the rounds online.

"She does everything she can to be outrageous, everything she can to be over the top, everything she can to be too much and she succeeded - and what she got from it was a great TV show," Blackwell told AP Radio.

In a statement, he described those on the list as "Ten Titans of Fashion Terror that, in 2003, ran the gamut of style-free excess from trashy to flashy, frumpy to dumpy and every egregious variation in between."

Madonna and Britney Spears - "kissin' cousins of couture crime" - were tied for second place, followed by Shania Twain (country-fried kitsch), Diane Keaton, Jessica Simpson, Celine Dion (half-sequined scarecrow, half-gaudy acrobat), Missy Elliott, Melanie Griffith, Courtney Love (torrid temptress of fashion) and Lara Flynn Boyle.

"I'm not telling them how to dress," he told AP Radio from his home in Hancock Park, Calif. "I'm just telling them what I think of it. ... A lot of the stars are looking better than ever and it was very tough to find 10 bad ones."

On the positive side, Blackwell praised Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Garner, Diane Lane, Salma Hayek, Oprah Winfrey, Katie Holmes, Tippi Hedren, Beyonce, Faith Hill, Sarah Jessica Parker and the Countess of Wessex, the former Sophie Rhys-Jones, as "Fabulous Fashion Independents for 2003."

Reality TV star Paris Hilton has sued a Panama-based Internet company for $30 million (16.3 million pounds), claiming that it illegally distributed a now-infamous tape of her having sex with an ex-boyfriend.

Hilton, who describes herself in the Los Angeles Superior Court lawsuit as a model and actress, sued Kahatani for violation of privacy, illegal business practices and infliction of emotional distress.

The 22-year-old socialite -- best known as star of the Fox reality TV show "The Simple Life" -- seeks $15 million in actual damages and another $15 million in punitive damages.

Hilton, whose grandfather founded the Hilton hotel chain, asserts in the lawsuit that the grainy, black-and-white videotape depicts her and then-boyfriend Rick Solomon in "intimate relations" and was not meant for others to see.

"Hilton intended the videotape only for personal use and never intended or consented that it be shown to anyone else or distributed to the public," the lawsuit says.

Solomon, a video entrepreneur, in November sued Hilton and her family, claiming that they slandered him by suggesting that he took advantage her.

Hiltonin menestystarina

Conrad Hilton perusti ensimmäisen hotellinsa Ciscoon, Teksasiin vuonna 1919. Ensimmäinen Hilton nimeä kantanut hotelli rakennettiin Dallasiin vuonna 1925.

Hilton oli 23. heinäkuuta 1946 ensimmäinen hotelliyhtiö, joka listattiin New Yorkin pörssiin. Se myös kehitti vuonna 1966 konseptin hotelliensa franchising-ketjuttamisesta.

Tällä hetkellä Hilton-hotelleja on maailmanlaajuisesti 499, joista kaksi sijaitsee Helsingissä. Huoneita hotelleissa on yhteensä 147 667. Yhtiötä johtaa Barron Hilton, joka on Paris Hiltonin isoisä.

Joo Barron Hilton aloitti lasten tekemisen nuorena. Hänellä oli alle 22-vuotiaana tulossa jo kolmas lapsi vuonna 1950. Näistä joku on sitten Paris Hiltonin faija. Kirjekuoressa oli kyseisen hotellin osakepapereita Elizabethille, jotta Taylorit tuntisivat asumisen ”kotoisaksi”.

Nick omasi kuitenkin erittäin huonot käytöstavat ja oli muutenkin täysin ”moukka”. Muistaakseni jo häämatkalla Cannesissa Nick käytti prostituoitujen palveluja ja läiski Elizabethia ”näköön”. Elizabethilla oli jo tuolloin 18-vuotiaana runsas karvoitus, jopa niin runsas, että hänellä kasvoi karvoja olkapäillä. Nick ei säästellyt ja kutsui yleisillä paikoilla Elizabethia apinaksi.
