Victoria Beckham has revealed that she does read books - she just does not often finish them.
"I always start them, get distracted, and never seem to get the time to finish - I'm sure all mothers with three boys know what I mean," she said.
The celebrity was responding to recent media reports that she has never read a book.
She also addressed 'cynics' who she said claim she is jeopardising her sons' future knowledge.
"Don't be so ridiculous. Of course we read books together. Romeo and Brooklyn both love reading stories, and as they are starting to pick up basic Spanish words, they have some Spanish books as well," she told a British newspaper.
Posh Spice also revealed that the family have now settled into their new life in Spain, where husband David Beckham plays football.
After a 'difficult' first two years, it finally feels like home, she said, adding that she is determined to learn Spanish over the next few months.
She said that those who think she does the housework or plays with the boys in high heels and designer dresses are wrong.
"Trust me - at home, where nobody sees us, we're so normal, it's almost boring," she said.
Victoria is in London for a photoshoot for Charms for Charity, a campaign by retailer Wallis in aid of Cancer Research UK, according to the newspaper.
